CSS Architects Inc. was commissioned to study and re-design the exterior of Harold Hartwell Court, a complex built in the 1970’s working with photo overlays, CSS proposed small additions to the roofs and facades in strategic locations, where minimal construction resulted in significant visual impact. The project included new siding, windows and roofing for the complex. New landscaping improvements created and defined circulation paths, and developed a sense of private yards and stoops at unit entrances.
